In the 1970s, the rise of neoliberalism coincides with a triumphant discourse of human rights. How could this happen? Starting from his latest book "Not Enough. Human Rights in an Unequal World", Samuel Moyn will discuss the tensions between markets, welfare, and the dream of global equality in historical perspective.
