The Ambassadors Project aims to promote and disseminate information on the history, economy and policies of EU institutions among young people.
The project will select and train 30 university students or young graduates as Ambassadors of Fondazione Antonio Megalizzi to visit schools and organizations to meet young people and give classes on a wide range of subjects, in order to strengthen national and European identity and encourage a sense of community.
The ambassadors will be trained on a variety of subjects: from the history and functioning of European institutions, to the impact of the European Union on everyday life, to the analysis of current events, the identification of good practices in journalism, insights into the world of communication. They will be equipped to organize workshops on behalf of the Foundation and will have access to specific teaching materials developed with education professionals, in collaboration with Edizioni Centro Studi Erickson, to provide appropriate and complete information.
Each Ambassador may express a preference to work with a given age group:
- children (last years of elementary schools)
- pre-teens (middle school)
- young adults (last years of high school)
How to apply
Applications are welcome from university students who are enrolled in a University programme and graduates of less than 12 months (based on the publication date of the call).
Non-Italian applicants must have a C1 knowledge of Italian based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The deadline to submit applications is 28 May 2022, at 14:00.
