Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition, the largest European event on innovation, is back and celebrates its 10th anniversary from 7 to 9 October 2022.
That is why # MFR2022will be a Special Edition: the fair will take place in person at Gazometro Ostiense in Rome together with a series of initiatives under the umbrella of innovation and creativity.
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Rome through its company Innova Camera, Maker Faire Rome addresses all the key aspects of innovation from digital manufacturing to the Internet of Things, from robotics to artificial intelligence, from the circular economy to agritech, biohacking, big data and aerospace.
Through the "Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2022", Maker Faire Rome aims to give visibility to the most promising projects in the field of technology and innovation carried out by state universities and public research institutes, in Italy and in other countries: their contribution has been crucial over the years for the success of the event.
This year the selected projects will be able to use a space at #MFR2022, free of charge.
Applications to the Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2022 must be submitted by 26 June 2022.

There are three possible options to participate:
- project presentations;
- activities and workshops (when online, these activities may not be planned on the dates of the fair);
- public performances. Performances can also take place as webinars.
