EUREGIO Mobility Fund - 7th edition

The Euregio Mobility Fund, the programme of the Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC), now in its 7th edition, is inviting applications for funding for projects promoting the mobility of students and faculty among the universities of Bolzano, Innsbruck and Trento. 

Applications are welcome from teaching and research staff of the three universities of the Euregio. Funding is available for joint educational initiatives such as courses, lectures, workshops, seminars, e-learning projects, study trips, summer or winter schools.

How to apply

Applications must be emailed in English by 25 June 2024 to euregio-mobilityfund [at] using the form attached to this notice.
The form must be sent by the coordinator of the initiative via email, in PDF format, attaching the informal authorization signed by the Director of the Department (UniTrento), by the Dean or by the President, Vice-President (UIBK) or the resolution of the Faculty Council (UNIBZ).


Researchers and professors of the University of Trento and the Free University of Bolzano, and the scientific collaborators of the University of Innsbruck, can participate in the call. 
The project must involve at least two Euregio universities and promote the participation of students from at least two universities, and must be presented by a coordinator who will be responsible for the final project report. The project activities must take place in the Euregio.

Possible initiatives

Examples of initiatives that can be funded through the project include:

  • joint lectures and seminars
  • joint educational initiatives (virtual exchange or blended mobility)
  • joint study trips in the Euregio
  • initiatives aimed at designing modules and lectures that can be included in the degree courses of the three universities
  • winter or summer schools, organized by at least one Euregio university and open to students of the other universities.

Maximum amount

The maximum amount that can be provided to each project is € 8,000. More information can be found in the notice of the call.


The projects must begin and end within the academic year 2024/2025, must be completed by 30 September 2025, and reported by 31 October 2025.

  • quality of the project proposal
  • number of participating students from Euregio universities
  • opportunity to create long-term collaborations.
