Fulvio Cortese elected dean of the Faculty of Law

Professor of administrative law, he will lead the Faculty for the next three years

New leadership at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento: the Department Council has elected Fulvio Cortese as its new dean with 61 votes and 3 blank votes. Cortese will take office in the fall and will lead the faculty until 2021, when he will have the opportunity to run again for the post.

Cortese, who was deputy dean, takes over from Giuseppe Nesi who, after two mandates, had to step down.

Fulvio Cortese is full professor of administrative law and teaches principles of public law and administrative procedural law.

He is co-director of the ‘Studi di diritto pubblico’ series by Franco Angeli Publishing and is a member of the steering boards of a number of journals: Le Regioni, Munus, Polemos, and Diritto costituzionale. He has authored many publications in the field of administrative law, education law, local and regional law, European administrative law, history of public law. He is the coordinator of the University’s strategic project International Migration Laboratory.
