Selective admission tests at the University of Trento

 On 10 April 2332 high-school students are expected to attend their selective test to access the University of Trento for the academic year 2015/2016.

The University of Trento established to apply the restricted-access procedure to all new degree courses, to foster the enrolment of more aware and motivated students, with a sounder preparation. A pre-fixed limit of the number of students registering for the test has been established for some courses.

This is the first date of the spring admission tests. Another selective test session will be held in the summer.

1853 students asked to take their test in Trento. Students living out of Trentino are allowed to take their test in other cities, in order to facilitate their participation. 479 students will take their test in other cities: 202 in Mantua, 123 in Bari, 81 in Palermo and 73 in Rome.

The selective test will start at 3.00 pm, for the degree courses in Sociology, Sociology (part-time), Social work, Science and techniques of cognitive psychology, Communication interfaces and technologies and the five-year courses in Law. The selective test for the admission to Physics, Mathematics, Computer science, Information engineering and Business Organisation e Electronic engineering and telecommunications will start at 4.00 pm.

On 14 April and on 22 April, the two afternoon “Tolc” sessions will be held, to access Industrial engineering, Civil engineering and Engineering for the environment and the territory.

Until 15 April at noon, students may still register to take their test on 24 April to access the degree courses in Modern languages, Historical and Philological Studies, Cultural heritage and Philosophy, Economics and Management, Business administration and Law, Business Management and Business Management part-time.
Selective tests will be held simultaneously in Trento, Rome, Bari, Palermo and Mantua. Thanks to the collaboration with the University of Padua, the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, the University of Verona and the University of Udine, students may take the test to be admitted to Economics and Management also in Padua, Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Udine, Trieste and Pordenone.

The selective tests to access Bimolecular science and technologies will be held on 7 September and the test for Construction engineering - architecture on 10 September (national selective test with national restricted number total).
