“I am a researcher on a contract, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento. I work on technology and knowledge transfer in the academic context. The main topics of my studies are: intellectual property, contracts and fundamental rightssuch asthe academic freedom. The university research activity financed through public funding is fundamental for the technology, social and economic development. It is necessary to guarantee that research is financed by the state, at least partially. An unbalanced funding, with a private prevalencewould threaten the academic and teaching freedom and the spreading of results. We fear future possible scenarios where the private stakeholders govern the research guidelines and the ways todisseminate the results. In the pharmaceutical sector, for example, research regarding rare disease could be replaced with works on moreprofitable topics.”

Thanks to your 5xmille you can concretely support the scientific research carried out at UniTrento, as well as the initiatives targeted to young people (study grants, specific training to access the European funding, training initiatives to foster the creation of start-upts are financed every year by UniTrento thanks to 5xmille).

Donating your 5xmille is easy. You just need to inform your fiscal centre or accountant when you prepare the income declaration.
To donate your 5xmille referring to your 2014 income (2015 income declaration) to UniTrento you just need to:
