The Vice Rector Flavio Deflorian and the former Rector, currently Judge of the Italian Constitutional Court, Daria de Pretis took part on 19 June 2015 in Innsbruck in the Ceremony Dies Academicus,  which marks the collaboration among the universities located in the Euregio.

The Rector Tilmann Märk underlined during the ceremony how the significance of the Austrian university is strengthened by the cooperation agreements. Märk recalled the University Euregio, which unites Innsbruck, Bolzano-Bozen and Trento, in a joint development agreement.

Daria de Pretis and Konrad Bergmeister were awarded the title of Honorary Senator, thus underlining the role which they respectively played in August 2012, for the drafting of the cross-border agreement, since they were respectively the Rector of the University of Trento and the President of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
