Get involved in the upcoming European elections

The availability form to participate in the European elections of 26 May 2019 as presiding officer and poll clerk is now online

If you are interested, submit your availability form as poll clerk or presiding officer online from 2 to 20 April

You need a provincial/national service card to access online services, or a Spid account (follow the instructions on the website of the municipality of Trento - Activate your card).

If you need help, visit the Elections office at the Municipality of Trento (piazza Fiera, 1 – first floor, opening hours: Monday to Friday 8-12, Thursdays 8-16), where you can find support from dedicated staff, or call 0461-884299 or 884298.

To be a poll clerk, you must have been registered in the register of poll clerks at least since November 2018.

Poll clerks will be on duty in the afternoon of Saturday 25 May to organize the polling station and on Sunday 26 May, election day. On the same day, starting from 11pm, ballot counting procedures will begin, and continue until Monday.

To be a presiding officer, you must have been registered in the register of presiding officers at least since October 2018. The list of available candidates will be sent to the President of the Court of Appeal of Trento, who is responsible for the appointment of presiding officers.

Presiding officers will be on duty in the morning of Saturday 25 May to collect the polling station materials, in the afternoon of Saturday 25 May to organize the polling station, and on Sunday 26 May, election day. On the same day, starting from 11pm, ballot counting procedures will begin, and continue until Monday.
