Five scholarships for 1042, the creative writing school in Andalo, in the Brenta Dolomites

Apply by 30 May

Versione stampabile

Andalo Vacanze, with collaboration from the University of Trento, the libraries of the Paganella area and Montura, is organizing a residential writing school in Andalo (which sits at an altitude of 1042 meters above sea level, hence the name) from 29 June to 6 July.

Five Italian writers and essayists will hold writing workshops, while alpine guides from Activity Trentino will take the participants on excursions in the Brenta Dolomites.

The University of Trento, with financial support from Fondazione Caritro, will award five scholarships to cover all costs (tuition fees, accommodation, excursions) to UniTrento students or students from other universities residing in Trentino who wish to attend the writing school in Andalo.

To apply for the scholarship, submit a short cover letter and a text of not more than 20,000 characters (short story, essay, novel excerpt) to scrivereintrentino [at] gmail.com by 30 May

A selection committee will award the scholarships at the beginning of June, so that five students will be able to enjoy Andalo and attend the 1042 school free of charge.
