UniTrento Sport Card free for students

For the first time, a move to encourage the student community to participate in sport activities

Versione stampabile

UniTrento students will receive the UniTrento Sport Card for free. The purpose of this new policy is to encourage the student community to participate in sport activities.

Therefore, from this year on, students will not have to pay the 20 euro annual membership fee, saving the money to participate in the courses organized by UniTrento Sport with support from Centro Universitario Sportivo (CUS) Trento.

Those who have never been members of UniTrento Sport will have to register online and then pick up their 2019/2020 card at the Cus offices in Trento (Via Prati, 1).

Students who need to renew their membership can simply show up at the Cus office with their expired card.

UniTrento Sport promotes physical activity in different sports and its card gives access to swimming pools, gyms and sport facilities in and around Trento to staff and students of the University of Trento, of Opera Universitaria and other research centres.

Its annual membership is now free for the students of the University, while alumni and staff still pay for it.

Members can choose from a wide range of activities (which are not for free) including: windsurf, climbing, canoe, swimming, alpine ski, tennis, volleyball, basketball, gliding, aikido, yoga, pilates, zumba, sailing (for disabled people too). Fitness events and dances classes are also offered, and tournaments and competitions involving the various University departments.

The full programme of initiatives for the first semester and all the details are available on the dedicated page
