Professor Davide Bassi, who was the Rector of the University of Trento from 2004 to 2013, has recently been appointed member of the Board of Directors of the Italian Institute of Technology.
The Italian Institute of Technology is a Foundation that aims to promote excellence in basic and applied research and to strengthen the national economy by stimulating collaboration with the best Italian universities.
The Board is made up of fifteen highly experienced individuals with a background in science, economics, industry and civil society.
