The coronavirus pandemic could not slow the annual Career Fair organized by the University of Trento to connect employers and young students who are looking for an internship or a position in their area of expertise.
The event which, given the circumstances, took place online, was attended by 129 companies, businesses and organizations from Trentino, Italy, and other countries, and 1740 students and graduates of the University who took advantage of this opportunity to take a look at what is ahead for them after graduation.
Employers filled a portion of the career fair website with their presentations, videos, and information for potential candidates.
Students and graduates could send questions and submit their CVs. With 91 online meetings on Zoom, young students managed to get in touch with the world of work.
The Career Fair, which is now in its third edition, has become a crucial event over the years for companies that need to recruit young candidates from the University.
The participants usually have to pay a small fee, but this year the University decided to make no profits from the event and invited the participating businesses and organizations to make a donation to the Civil protection.
