Valeria Solesin Award – fourth edition

The fourth edition of the Valeria Solesin Award is now open for applications. 

The award aims to remember Valeria Solesin, the Italian researcher of Sorbonne University in Paris who was killed during the terrorist attack at the Bataclan theatre on 13 November 2015.

Applications are welcome from students who, like Valeria, focused their works on the role of women between work and family and other current topics that enhance the benefits of a gender-balanced workforce.

The 12 scholarship, for a total amount of 30,700 euro, will be awarded to works that explored, in an original way, the theme of Female talent as a crucial driver for the development of the economy, ethics and merit in our country.

The Valeria Solesin award is open to students who defended their master's theses in any Italian university.

Applicants must obtain their degree by 31 July 2020 in any of the following discipline areas: Economics, Sociology, Law, Political Sciences, Psychology, Education Sciences, Engineering, Statistics and Demography.

The deadline to submit applications is 7 August 2020.
