First graduates in mountain sports

The first graduation of students of the inter-university Master's degree in Science of sport and physical performance - Mountain sports track - jointly organized by the universities of Trento and Verona, took place today. 

Michele Bais, Stefania Briccio, Arianna Dezulian, Flaminia Franchetti Pardo and Martina Palumbo defended their theses wearing a face mask and in compliance with social distancing measures. 

The graduation committee was chaired by Federico Schena, president of the course and delegate for teaching and learning at the University of Verona, and included Paola Iamiceli and Paolo Bouquet, respectively delegate for teaching and learning and delegate for sport at the University of Trento, and the representatives of the organizations and entities that supported the new degree programme:

  • the Autonomous Province of Trento,
  • the City of Rovereto,
  • Trentino Sviluppo,
  • Coni - Trento section,
  • the Italian Federation of Winter Sports,
  • Liceo Rosmini di Rovereto.

Established in October 2018 by the universities of Verona and Trento with Cerism, the research centre on Sport, mountain and health of the University of Verona, this programme is unique.
