The Rector of the University and the Mayor of Trento have signed the plan of actions for 2020/2021.

The overall goal is to strengthen mutual relations between the citizens and the University community, after the positive results achieved in the past four years.

The new plan focuses on the analysis of the City's tourist strategy, both in general (with over one million visitors per year in the past few years) and in light of the restrictions implemented because of the Covid-19 emergency, and on promoting sustainable mobility.

One of the actions is the organization of a second round of training to teach how to use the automated external defibrillators (AED) that have been installed around Trento, a device that can help save people's life in case of a cardiac arrest.

A number of actions have been re-designed to comply with Covid-19 safety measures and the economic crisis.

There are five main areas of intervention: digitization, sustainable mobility, food policies, shared and participated decision-making, valorization of heritage.

The meeting was also attended by Marco Tubino, professor of the University and head of the Coordination committee, and Sabrina Redolfi, head of the Servizio Sviluppo economico, studi e statistica, representing the City in the committee.
