With its Career Fair, the University of Trento supports young people and employers to come together to face the challenges of the transformation of work, technological innovation and the digital transition. The event will take place online, like last year, to bring together those looking for and those offering internships and job opportunities after graduation. The date of the event, which is much anticipated by students and companies wishing to recruit young people from UniTrento, is Wednesday 19 May. The Career Fair involves all academic Departments, Centers, and Schools, which suspend academic activities for one day to encourage students to participate and focus on work.
There are 89 companies from Trentino, Italy and other countries, that are ready for the fair, while registration of University students opened on 28 April.

Companies can present themselves in a dedicated area of the Career Fair website with videos, information and company presentations aimed at candidates. In addition to this, the companies can present themselves live on Zoom in 45-minutes online meetings that are scheduled throughout the day. Students can take advantage of these meetings to ask questions to employers.

In the week from 24 to 28 May, on Zoom, the University staff will help organize individual interviews between students and 35 companies that have expressed an interest in learning more about them.

The Career Fair has become a crucial event over the years, where companies recruit new staff. The fee to participate is 300 or 500 euros depending on the type of registration.

Industrial Innovation Day
This year, in collaboration with Trentino Sviluppo, the Career Fair also includes the Industrial Innovation Day. An event organized to present the PhD Programme in Industrial Innovation, an interdisciplinary course promoted by the University of Trento, and in particular by the Departments of Information Engineering and Computer Science (Disi) and Industrial Engineering (Dii), in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Management (Dem), the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering (Dicam), the Department of Physics (Df), the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrated Biology (Cibio) and the Bruno Kessler Foundation (Fbk).

During the event, students from the University's master's courses will have the opportunity to meet academics and companies at the forefront of industrial innovation, to generate collaboration opportunities and bring new ideas, technologies and methodologies into industrial processes. On the other hand, companies will have the opportunity to present their business and meet young talents in dedicated meetings.
