Guide2Research: UniTrento Ranks Third in the University Ranking for Computer Science in Italy, and among the Top 100 Universities in the World

DISI researchers are once again at the national and international top for the quality of scientific publications

The University of Trento is confirmed once again as one of the nation's top universities: according to the Guide2Research ranking, our university is third in Italy for Computer Science, and among the top 100 universities in the world. 

The ranking examined the Google Scholar profiles of 6300 scientists, analyzing their h-index, the number of citations and the number of publications in DBLP, the computer science bibliography.

The top scientists ranking lists 13 researchers of UniTrento.

The profile of Professor Lorenzo Bruzzone, of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, stands out: he placed 3rd in Italy and 393rd in the world, confirming the result obtained last year in the World Ranking of Scientists, when he was named the 32nd most influential scientist in the world in the field of Geological & Geomatics Engineering. 

The other researchers in the ranking are: Roberto Battiti, Davide Brunelli, Fabio Casati, Bruno Crispo, Paolo Giorgini, Fausto Giunchiglia, Fabio Massacci, Gian Pietro Picco, Giuseppe Riccardi, Marco Roveri, Roberto Sebastiani, Nicu Sebe.
