Volunteers wanted for survey

Researchers aim to understand the relationship between microbiota composition and food preferences

Versione stampabile

The Agriculture, Food, Environment Centre (C3A) of the University of Trento, in collaboration with Fondazione Edmund Mach and the University of Southern Denmark, is looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 30 to participate in a study that aims to explore the possible relationships between the physiological and psychological aspects associated with the sensory perception of food and the composition of oral and gut microbiota. Researchers hope to find out how these relationship influence food preferences and choices.

The activities that volunteers are involved in are organized in 4 sessions, on 4 different days, and can be performed at home.

Volunteers are required to pick up and return a test kit at Fondazione Edmund Mach, in San Michele all'Adige, TN. They are asked to collect saliva and stool samples using a simple self-collection kit.

Overall, volunteers will be engaged for about 3 hours over 1 week. Your participation is anonymous. The survey will be carried out in compliance with Covid-19 safety measures. Candidates will be selected in order to have a uniform sample population.

If you are interested in participating, please complete the survey
