Grants dedicated to innovation aim to foster digital innovation and enabling technologies, support the enhancement of human capital, as a determining factor for the development of research and innovation in Italy.
Grants dedicated to the Green issue are concerned with the development of innovative products and services with a reduced impact on the environment, and are focused on the conservation of the ecosystem, biodiversity, as well as on the reduction of the impacts of climate change and on the promotion of sustainable development.
The link with the industrial world is crucial in both training courses: future doctoral students will carry out part of their advanced doctoral training in a company, for a minimum of 6 months over the 3-year course.
All grants are co-financed by the University of Trento and a national funding scheme (Programma Operativo Nazionale: PON "Research and Innovation" 2014-2020 - Action IV.4 "Doctorates and research contracts on innovation topics" and Action IV.5 "Doctorates on Green themes ", for admission to the XXXVII PhD Cycle), thanks to the assignment of new ESF REACT-EU resources for research doctorate courses in Italy.
