HUB Innovazione Trentino Foundation: a selection procedure for a "Technology Transfer Manager"

The TRENTINO INNOVATION HUB Foundation has launched a selection procedure for the purpose of recruiting a "Technology Transfer Manager" in the area of ICT/Artificial Intelligence.

The successful candidate will strengthen HIT's research and technology transfer capacity within the Strategic Activity Area (ASA) dedicated to innovation and technology transfer. The purpose of the Strategic Activity Area is to achieve the following objectives:

  • support the enhancement of the research potential of the scientific founders of HIT and of the entire Trentino research system, in order to translate it into new proprietary technologies, marketable knowledge, intellectual property rights;
  • support the research groups of the scientific founders of HIT, directing their activities towards the most promising sectors, through actions such as technology trend scouting, evaluation of patentability, market analysis, technological development and support to testing and proof-of-concept activities;
  • encourage the participation of industrial partners and private investors in the technologies of the Trentino research system;
  • carry out scouting activities of the technological needs of companies in Trentino, to support the gradual adoption of solutions offered by the local research sector.

Given the importance of cybersecurity technologies in the area of ICT/Artificial Intelligence, candidates are required to have a background in this area.

Candidates are required to meet the following professional requirements:

Essential requirements 

  • Master's degree

Specific requirements as per article 2 of the call:

  • experience in technology transfer in the industrial sector and/or at investment funds and/or at universities and research centers;
  • knowledge of the main market trends and of the challenges of product and process innovation;
  • knowledge of the scientific environment and of innovation-enabling technologies;
  • advanced knowledge of Italian;
  • advanced knowledge of English.

Preferred requirements

  • Further specializations in related and/or complementary fields.
  • Previous experience in the management of new entrepreneurship projects and/or acceleration programs.
  • Specific training in the area of intellectual property protection.
