Duccio Rocchini keynote speaker in Jena

At the upcoming international Conference on Ecological Informatics in Jena (Germany), more than 200 researchers will face most intriguing issues related to Informatics applied to ecology.

Among the four invited keynote speakers, Duccio Rocchini, Professor at the Center Agriculture Food Environment (UniTN-FEM), will propose an impulsive and critical discussion on the main pioneering and challenging biogeographical theories on species distributions over our planet. A burning issue overall in the light of global climate change which is threatening single species and entire ecosystems.
