From September 2022, German and Spanish B2 tests change and will take longer to complete, 90 minutes instead of 75.
A longer test is not necessarily more difficult, it is simply more complete, reliable and appropriate.
As usual, students must pass each section of the test to continue to the next.
The new tests were carefully designed by a group of language teachers who are very familiar with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
The tests are in line with the general guidelines, which describe in detail the competencies that can be assessed at every level, and only test the students' language proficiency, not their knowledge of a particular subject.
No technical words are used in the texts, which cover general topics.
