AIAS 2018 juniores prize

Michelangelo Marini, PhD student of the doctoral school in Materials, Mechatronics and Systems Engineering, won the juniores prize assigned by the organising committee of the 47th national conference AIAS2018, 5-8 September, Villa San Giovanni (Italy). He presented the work entitled “Sequential DEM-FEM simulation of the shot peening process: the residual stress state in the vicinity of the edge”. The prize is reserved to papers whose authors are exclusively PhD and post-doctoral students.
