Alberto Molinari is Full Professor of Metallurgy, University of Trento since 1.11.2001.

The main research areas are: Powder Metallurgy, Additive Manufacturing, Wear of metallic materials.
APMI recognized his contribution to the development and dissemination of knowledge in Powder Metallurgy as academic (author of about 500 publications on international and national journals and Conference proceedings; tutor of around 30 PhD thesis, several hundreds of Master and Bachelor thesis; teacher in international schools, seminars and courses) his active contribution to the annual International Congress organized by APMI, his role in the industrial development of Powder Metallurgy through his intense cooperation with the most important international and national industries in the field: Höganäs, GKN SinterMetals, Ames, Miba, Sintex, GE, Eurocoating, Mimest.
Active member of EPMA and APMI, Chairman of the European Powder Metallurgy Institute and of the Powder Metallurgy Centre of Italian Association of Metallurgy.
