TOP STARS - innovaTion challenge fOr PhD STudents And ReSearchers, an EIT RawMaterials project, has been confirmed as a “Success Story” by the KIC RawMaterials.
A Success Story is an activity carried out by an institution (e.g. start-up, SME, large company, research center / RTO, regional authority, municipality, industry organization, public authority, EU body, KIC partner, partner non-KIC) or an individual (e.g. a graduate of an EIT-certified program, a participant in EIT training) who demonstrates a remarkable success with regard to achieving its goals and fostering innovation that is relevant to the EIT mission (e.g. in business development, market expansion, company growth, innovation in education enabling skills and talent development, commercialisation of research and new products, services or process launched on the market that creative positive societal, socioeconomic and/or environmental impact).
The parameters taken into consideration were:
- the communication activities carried out and their contribution to increasing the visibility and publicity of EIT
- the social/socio-economic/environmental impact of the activity carried out
- the EIT core KPIs and KIC specific KPIs to which the success story contributed
- the Knowledge Triangle Integration elements in the services provided by the activity
- the testimonies of participants and insiders
