DISI students attending “Networking 1” course in class with TIM

The collaboration between DISI and the telecommunication company is growing

Versione stampabile

Starting from Wednesday 4 May, students attending the course "Networking 1", offered within the master's degree course in Information and Communications Engineering and held by prof. Fabrizio Granelli, will have the opportunity to attend lessons given by some engineers and managers who work at TIM, the well-known Italian telecommunications company.

“TIM's collaboration with DISI - explains prof. Granelli - is part of the department's strategy of 'opening up' to companies. The intention is to consolidate the collaboration of our researchers and teachers with companies by introducing corporate speakers in university courses, organizing joint teaching and research laboratories, and aligning the academic and business vision on the most innovative issues in the various ICT sectors. In fact, in the ICT field student training cannot ignore aspects related to the use of technologies available on the market and problems that students will be asked to solve when they enter the world of work. Collaboration with companies is strategic for us as it goes exactly in this direction".
