The Meditech Challenge - Vascular Surgery kick-off meeting will take place on February 7th, 2024 at Polo Ferrari (Povo), room A106.
The Meditech Challenge is an initiative of the University of Trento and the Provincial Company for Health Services of the Autonomous Province of Trento (APSS), in collaboration with Fondazione Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT), aimed at devising technological solutions to technical problems in the field of vascular surgery.
Six multidisciplinary teams, made up of students enrolled in master's degree and doctoral courses of various departments of the University of Trento, will compete from February to May 2024 to design innovative prototypes that can solve real problems related to vascular surgery, thanks to skills of robotics, artificial intelligence, mechanical design, biomaterials and augmented reality.
Students will be supported by resident physicians and tutored by vascular surgeons from all over Italy.
