A very prestigious Award at the IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium 2018 was given to the paper "A Novel Automatic Approach to the Update of Land-Cover Maps by Unsupervised Classification of Remote Sensing Images” by Claudia Paris, Lorenzo Bruzzone and Diego Fernandez-Prieto from the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science -DISI.
The paper was selected as the winner out of more than 1000 papers presented.
