Lorenzo Bruzzone new Vice-President for Professional Activities at IEEE GRSS

Prof. Lorenzo BruzzoneProfessor Lorenzo Bruzzone is the Vice-President for Professional Activities of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) for 2019.

In this role he has the responsibility to coordinate many IEEE GRSS activities including: Major Awards committee, Publication Awards committee, Special Awards committee, Symposium Awards committee, Fellow/Senior Member Search committee, Fellow Evaluation committee, Membership, Distinguished speakers, Chapters, and Young Professional.

 

Lorenzo Bruzzone received the degree in "Electronic engineering" and the Ph.D. degree in "Telecommunications" at the University of Genoa (Italy). He is currently a Full Professor of Telecommunications at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of Trento, where he teaches remote sensing, radar and digital communications.
