Most Influential Paper Award for DISI

The prestigious award to the professors Paolo Giorgini, Fabio Massacci, John Mylopoulos (DISI) and Nicola Zannone (Eindhoven University of Technology)

On 26th of August, during the twenty-third edition of the IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference held in Ottawa, Canada, the professors of DISI Paolo GiorginiFabio Massacci, John Mylopoulos and Nicola Zannone (the latter a former doctoral student of DISI and currently professor at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands), received the prestigious award of "10 years most influential paper award" for their work Modeling security requirements through ownership, permissions and delegation.

The important award was given to the professors after a careful evaluation by the Scientific Committee of the impact that the work has had in the last 10 years.

During the conference, the professors briefly presented the key ideas of their research, illustrating the importance of their contribution to the scientific community.

The award is a further confirmation of the importance of the work done over the years by the research group in Software Engineering, Formal Methods and Security at DISI.
