The Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science is looking for 2 Laboratory technicians to deal with the setup and the hardware / software management of the new established educational laboratories.

Position N1

Management of the new established educational laboratories "Fab Lab", "IoT and Robotics", "Autonomous Driving and UAV" and "Electronics" related to the "Dipartimento di Eccellenza". 
The candidate is required to deal with the installation and management of 3D printers, oscilloscopes, waveform generators, multimeters, logic level analyzer, soldering stations, cutters, laser cutter, conveyor belts, robots and column drill. 
If necessary, appropriate training will be provided for both the installation and daily management of specific equipment. The selected candidate will also have to provide technical support in the management of the administrative activities for the acquisition of new machinery.

Position N2

Management of the new established educational laboratories "IoT Testbed", "Sensing Technologies", "Networking and Security", "Multisensory Interactions" and "Wireless Technologies" related to the “Dipartimento di Eccellenza” funding.  The candidate is required to deal with the following activities: 

  • virtualization environments (VMWare, docker, etc.)
  • Linux operating system 
  • OpenStack environment 
  • protocols and architectures for the security of IP, LAN and mobile networks
  • multimedia devices, including audio devices (microphones, sound cards, speaker systems), video projectors, motion capture system 
  • distributed structures consisting of single-board computers (Raspberry) and IoT cards
  • programming in Python language

If necessary, appropriate training will be provided for both the installation and their daily management.
