During the 22nd Congress of the Italian Mathematical Union (UMI), in Pisa from 4 to 9 September 2023, Lorenzo Mazzieri - full professor at the Department of Mathematics in Trento - has been awarded the "Enrico Magenes" prize, for his contributions in the field of research.
Starting from 2015 and every 4 years, in correspondence with the Congress, the Italian Mathematical Union assigns the "Enrico Magenes Prize" to a mathematician who has made significant contributions in the field of theoretical or numerical analysis , differential models and their applications and who has not exceeded the age of 45 by 31 December of the year in which the prize is awarded.
