Two calls from the University of Trento are online for the assignment of additional doctoral scholarships for the 39th cycle (academic year 2023/2024) financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), based on Ministerial Decrees no. 117 and o. 118, thanks to the recent major investments in research provided by Next Generation EU.
All the funded scholarships are on specific research topics and require carrying out a mandatory period of study and research abroad.
The scholarships awarded to the Doctoral program in Information Engineering and Computer Science (IECS) are:
- 6 scholarships under the Ministerial Decree no 117 - deadline 25 July 2023
- 3 scholarships under the Ministerial Decree no 118 - deadline 12 July 2023
Scholarships under DM no 117 - deadline for applications: 25 July 2023 at 4 pm
They are co-funded by companies for the implementation of the projects aiming at the enhancement of high-profile skills, especially in the areas of Key Enabling Technologies.

These scholarships are funded for the implementation of projects on: NRRP research, Public Administration and Cultural heritage.
The 3 scholarships awarded to IECS are:
- Local and Ensemble Methods in Quantum Machine Learning
