- Area C: Data Intelligence; Digitalization of operations for sustainability; Quantum Information and Computing; Social Informatics, Software Engineering and Formal Methods
- Area D: Multimedia Signal Processing and Understanding; Remote and Distributed Sensing; Signal processing and Recognition
38 scholarships available divided as follows:
- 18 scholarships funded by DISI and Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), reserved for specific research topics
- 14 scholarships funded by the MUR - Departments of Excellence
- 6 grants funded by the University of Trento
