Francesco Nicoli, SIS PhD Graduate, awarded with the Supranational Political Economy Prize

Francesco Nicoli, who defended his PhD in February 2017, was awarded the Supranational Political Economy Thesis Prize for his dissertation on the Political Economy of the Eurocrisis, supervised by professor Luigi Bonatti and with the advice of professors Simona Piattoni and Andrea Fracasso. His dissertation, titled “Integration through crises? Testing neofunctional hypotheses in a political economy investigation of crisis-led integration”, was described by the jury as “an outstanding piece of work (…) a most interesting and sophisticated example of scholarship.
