Online admission test in August. From September on, blended (on-site /online) learning

Versione stampabile

During the complicated period of the lockdown, the activities of the Faculty have not stopped: the 96% of the teaching activities have continued online. Examinations have also taken place online, sometimes with an increase in results and scoring. Even the organisation of seminars and conferences has adjusted to the circumstances, having taken place online: some of these experienced a large increase in the traditional number of participants. Even graduation sessions have been organised online, during this hard time, and 203 students have had the opportunity of finishing their academic career, online.

All of this has been possible thanks to the combined efforts of lecturers, students and their representatives, administrative and tech staff. These sacrifices were worth the effort, because competences have grown and new abilities have been acquired by means of new practices of interactions.

It is now time to program a gradual and conscientious return to what is supposed to be an open place of vivid interaction and intellectual confrontation, a place of experiences and connections.

The tech staff is working hard in order to plan a safe return: services such as book loans and internships have restarted, study rooms at University libraries have reopened, and - as soon as possible - university cantees will reopen.

The School of Law is committed to guarantee the return of its students. While admission tests will be held online in August, live teaching will commence starting from September: it will be a gradual and safe process, reserved - at the beginning - to first year students. Because of the limitations of usable places due to the regulations about social distancing, Senior students will continue online learning, at least for the first semester.

No One will be left behind: even the first year teaching activities will be offered both on-site and online, so that even students who can not be in Trento in September will be able to join and be part of the Academic Community.
