The OECD Trento Centre
The OECD Trento Centre for Local Development is part of the Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE) of the OECD. The mission of the Trento Centre is to build capacities for local development in OECD member and non-member countries. The Trento Centre’s work is structured around two dimensions: i) providing capacity building for people, places and institutions on issues related to local development; ii) developing a policy lab on issues related to spatial productivity  (Spatial Productivity Lab).  We are a small team, so interns have the opportunity to be actively involved in a wide-range of activities. Interns usually work on a specific project, however they also assist in wider Trento Centre activities, such as conference and seminar preparation. In this framework, the candidates will:
Contribute to the analytical work of the OECD Trento Centre (data collection and analysis, background papers, studies, policy reviews) on regional and local economic development, spatial productivity, employment, skills, and culture-led development.
Provide support in project management.
Assist in the organisation of events.

The OECD Venice Office
The objective of the OECD Venice Office is to produce evidence and advice on ways to maximise the impact of culture and creative industries as levers for growth, job creation and social inclusion at the local level. The work focuses on data gathering and analysis of national and sub-national policies, as well as governance and investments frameworks, to support culture and creative sectors. The Office is currently organising a major international conference on culture and local development to be held on 6-7 December 2018. Interns will have the opportunity to be actively involved in a wide-range of activities spanning from analysis to conference and seminar preparation. In this framework, the candidates will:
Contribute to the analytical work of the OECD LEED Venice Office (background papers, studies, policy reviews) on culture-led local economic development.
Assist in the organisation of events.
Contribute to expand the work undertaken by the OECD LEED Venice Office on the role of culture as driver of local growth and related policies and instruments.
