The Fulbright Commission promotes the SUSI Program (Study of the US Institute for Student Leaders). It is addressed to students up to 25 years enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of a Bachelor's degree course (or 3rd or 4th of the one-cycle degree course).
The winner will have the chance to attend 5 weeks of intensive academic courses at Michigan State University on the subject Civic Engagement (e.g. Citizenship, Community Building, Economic Development, Grassroots Activism, Political Leadership and Volunteerism, etc.).
The mobility will take place between June and August 2023 and the costs of visa, travel, food, and accommodation are covered by the Department of State.
Goals:
- increase knowledge and understanding of US culture
- strengthen their leadership skills applied to the field of study
Non-Italian citizens must have resided in Italy for at least 5 years.
Documents (in English) required during the application stage:
- identity card
- CV
- cover letter
- Transcript of records
- possible certification of knowledge of the English language
