Call for Proposals: University of Cincinnati Virtual Mini-Conference Series

Versione stampabile

During these long months of the Coronavirus emergency, many venues that university professors routinely use to share teaching experiences or disseminate their research have been interrupted or limited to varying degrees.

As a pro-active response, the University of Cincinnati, a strategic partner of the University of Trento, has created an ongoing initiative that provides professors from partner universities the opportunity to take part in a series of on-line mini-conferences in English in front of a world-wide audience. Each conference lasts approximately 15 minutes and focuses on a specific theme. All professors are invited to submit proposals to participate and showcase their current work on the indicated topic.

Following the success of the first conference in October 2020, The University of Cincinnati is now accepting proposals related to the second mini-conference topic: Responding to the Global Pandemic with Research. The virtual event will take place on Thursday, March 11th, 2021 between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM (United States EST).

Conference proposals must be submitted by Friday, January 15th, 2021 using the University of Cincinnati submission platform (https://airtable.com/shrenVrayLRN48JvL).

For subsequent mini-conferences, it is possible to propose other topics from various academic areas related to responses to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If interested, please send an e-mail with a brief description to international [at] unitn.it.
