AU places a strong focus on sustainable development in many areas, including improving literacy, gender equality, health and sanitation, natural disaster prevention, medical innovation and many others. Progress towards this laudable goal has also been achieved through a variety of high-quality educational and research opportunities offered by AU, as well as via extensive collaboration with international partners.
UniTrento has a long-standing partnership with Amrita University, including numerous student and faculty exchanges from many fields and cooperation on various projects such as Live-In-Labs. One of the outcomes of this proven relationship is the recent confirmation of Professor Massimo Donelli as an Adjunct Professor at Amrita University. Prof. Donelli will remain an Associate Professor at the UniTrento Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science where he currently teaches. In the future he will also collaborate with AU using his valuable areas of expertise, which include information & communication technology, biomedical imaging, coding theory, cryptography, evolutionary algorithms, radar and satellite communication, among others. This important new appointment will serve to further consolidate and amplify cooperation between Amrita University and UniTrento.
