The University of Trento aims to achieve greater gender balance in the composition of its academic staff: accordingly, female candidates are encouraged to apply for the position.

Position

The position is a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professorship (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato RTD-B). This is a fixed term three-years contract that leads to Associate Professorship upon obtainment of the national scientific qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) and positive evaluation by the University.
This is a joint position between the School of International Studies (70%) and the Department of Economics and Management (30%), and carries a teaching load of 90 hours per year (split among the two institutions). Finally, the University grants a start-up research fund of about 12.000 euro.

Documents should be sent to Ms. Silvia Tomaselli (silvia.tomaselli [at] unitn.it, specifying SIS RTD-B econ in the subject line), preferably before August 31, 2020.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and a seminar presentation at the School so as to discuss their CV, past and prospective publications, funding proposals, and the like. The SIS plans to complete the selection of candidates by the end of 2020. The expected start of the position is in the Fall 2021.
