Focus on the Ukrainian crisis
The seminar offers a multi-disciplinary perspective on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Starting from minority-related issues in Ukraine before and after Euromaidan, the speakers will discuss aspects of international law and security, the roles of both NATO and the European Union, the Russian narrative, and latest developments.

Ginevra Fontana is an Independent Researcher on defense and security matters, focusing on minority rights, (counter-)terrorism, new technologies and military practices. She is an alumna of Collegio Clesio, holding a BA in International Studies from the University of Trento and a MSc in International Security Studies from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies & the University of Trento. She was project assistant to the "Debate on Defense and Systemic Security" at the Center for Higher Defense Studies until its conclusion in January 2022.
Sergiu Constantin is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Minority Rights of Eurac Research. He holds a law degree from the University of Bucharest (Romania) and a Master in European Studies from the University of Graz (Austria). His research projects deal with diversity governance focusing mainly on language rights, political participation and territorial/cultural autonomy arrangements in Europe and beyond. His most recent consultancy activities regard projects undertaken by the Council of Europe and the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities in Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova.
