Abstract
The workshop, organized by the MiMo - Mind in Mouth working group with the Italian Society of Sensory Sciences, contributes to the construction of an interdisciplinary dialogue between Sensory Sciences and Cognitive Neurosciences on the theme of the influence of sensory, emotional and more generally, cognitive on food preferences. The first MiMo workshop is an opportunity to compare interests in the study of the influence of sensory, affective and more generally cognitive mechanisms on food resources in a multidisciplinary perspective between Sensory Sciences and Cognitive Neuroscience. In order to facilitate the submission of useful contributions to the purpose of the workshop, some key words have been identified in the context of the study of food preferences: Multimodal perception; Learning mechanisms; Reward; Emotions; Attention; Memory; Categorization; Reaction Times; Implicit Methods; Text analysis.
