Distance learning

Versione stampabile

In the wake of the measures taken by the Rector for the suspension of all teaching activities, all degree programs are making arrangements to ensure distance learning possibilities for students.

Throughout the coming week, teaching will be progressively introduced online.

There will be essentially two ways to access lessons remotely:

  1. Synchronous mode – video conference: Professors who use the synchronous method will teach their lessons during their normal class times published at the beginning of the semester. Courses using the synchronous method will become fully operational over the course of the week, therefore you should check for messages  from your professors using the methods that are described below.

  2. Asynchronous mode: the multimedia contents for each lesson will be made available on the University system (Moodle).

All professors will provide information regarding distance learning through Moodle. Some professors already use other communication channels with their students and in these cases they will also communicate all information through Moodle.
You therefore will need to access the Moodle communities for each of the courses that you intend to attend remotely.

We also would like to point out that each professor must activate the community on Moodle, so if you do not find the course you are looking for on https://webapps.unitn.it/gestionecorsi/, you will have to wait until the professor activates the community.

We kindly ask that you wait until Wednesday or Thursday before accessing the communities, because the first days of the week are necessary for professors to organize courses and for the university staff to give them any necessary support.

Thank you for your cooperation!
