Coronavirus Emergency: Information for UniTrento Exchange Students Currently Abroad

Versione stampabile

Considering the rapidly evolving international health emergency related to the outbreak of COVID-19, the consequent cancellation or limitation of academic activities at partner universities and the provisions of the European Commission, UniTrento has adopted the following policies regarding outgoing student exchanges.

UniTrento Exchange Students Currently Abroad

If you have already begun your exchange you are free to remain abroad to conclude your previously planned study program. UniTrento will continue to support you as established in the exchange contract signed before your departure. If necessary, you can request an extension of your exchange by contacting your UniTrento Mobility Office and the host institution.
We remind you to pay careful attention to recommendations from host universities and the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization regarding safe travel and behavior. Furthermore, we strongly suggest that you verify the details of your health insurance coverage, especially for study abroad in countries outside of Europe.

If you wish to return home, you may do so respecting current sanitary regulations and using the means of transport you deem most appropriate given the possibility of enhanced screenings, travel restrictions and possible border closures. We therefore recommend that you be particularly careful when planning your travel itinerary. Available information will be frequently updated in the text and in the Download Box on this page.
