UniTrento Board of Directors allocates 1 million euro to tackle emergency

The University of Trento is also working to fight Covid-19.

The Board of Directors of the University has decided, in an extraordinary meeting that was held online, on proposal from Rector Paolo Collini, to award a 1 million funding to the Coronavirus emergency, an amount which will be sourced from budget surplus.

This extraordinary funding will be used for the most part for activities carried out by the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology (Cibio) which is working with the Provincial Health Care Service in particular to examine up to 30,000 tests.

The funds will also be used to support other research activities, services and dissemination activities for the public at large, which have already been developed by other departments of the University.
