The president of the Sezione giurisdizionale for Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol of the Court of Audit in Trento, Pino Zingale, was welcomed this morning at Palazzo Sardagna by Rector Paolo Collini.

The two met to discuss the coming phases of the two collaboration agreements that the University of Trento and the Court of Audit signed in April during the lockdown.

The agreements, which cover a two-year span, implement curricular internships for undergraduate and graduate students, master's students, PhD candidates and students attending non-medial specialization schools.

One agreement has a wider scope for students from different disciplinary areas of the University; the other is designed for students enrolled in the Specialization school for legal professionals of the Faculty of Law.

The latter agreement aims to provide advanced training to law graduates, which will take the form of internship programmes with judges in courts (50 to 70 hours over two months).

Within the collaboration, specific training for the staff of the Court of Audit may be organized by the University of Trento.

The collaboration also aims to organize initiatives to promote legality and civic participation and to disseminate knowledge of public accountancy and the management of public budgets.

During today's meeting at Palazzo Sardagna the two organizations also renewed their collaboration and commitment to transparency and their mutual interest in the management and supervision of public resources.
