Davide Geneletti receives Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award from Alexander von Humboldt Foundation

Davide Geneletti has received the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for his research work in the area of landscape planning.Davide Geneletti

The prizes are awarded every year to internationally renowned academics in recognition of their accomplishments in research. 

The independent body that selects the award winners is comprised of around 22 academics from all disciplines. 

Award winners are also invited to conduct a research project of their choice at a research institution in Germany in cooperation with specialist colleagues there, to promote international scientific cooperation.

Davide Geneletti has been invited to chair the Opening Ceremony of the Annual Assembly of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation on 23 June, which will also be attended by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and by the 2020 Nobel Prize Laureate for Chemistry, Emmanuelle Charpentier.
