The seminar is concerned with some basic notions related to copyright issues, quotations, images, and deposit of the PhD thesis in the online archive. 

The purpose is to made PhD candidates well aware of the compulsory steps to be done at the end of the programme in order to get the Diploma, and of the main advantages and benefits of Open Access archiving for PhD candidates and young researchers in terms of visibility and impact.

The seminar is free (no registration is required) and is primarily intended for those who are to defend their doctoral thesis in the next months (February-June 2015) and for those who are in the last year of the programme. 

Participation is nevertheless possible also for PhD candidates in the previous years until fulfillment of all available places.
